Matilda Day raises around £400 for DS Achieve!

A big thank you to everybody who made, donated, or bought cakes at our Bruce Bogtrotter Cake Sale on Wednesday, we have made around £400 for the D S Achieve charity, which supports children with Down Syndrome.

As well as raising some valuable funds, we all had a great day! Our special assembly included a fantastic rendition of 'When I Grow Up', alongside a new chapter in the Matilda story and a highly entertaining Bruce Bogtrotter Chocolate Cake eating competition.

All classes enjoyed a short session of Fizz Ed with a rather hot and flustered Miss Trunchbull, but it was a day to remember and we are so proud of Tom, who is enjoying his final term at Skyswood. He did, however, manage to expose the fraudulent Trunchbull towards the end of the day with a swift removal of the wig. And only one child ended up in The Chokey!
