Nadia Finer Author Visit

The school enjoyed a special visit from the author Nadia Finer in today's assembly (Thursday 19th June). Nadia is on a softly spoken mission to support shy people (as she was extremely shy when she was at school, and in adulthood). Her wonderful book, Quiet Riot, showcases the stories of many famous people who happened to also be very shy... and there were a few surprises! Beyonce, Lionel Messi, Albert Einstein and Ed Sheeran all overcame their shyness to achieve great success in their fields. The children thoroughly enjoyed the assembly, listened carefully and asked some thoughtful questions. Many of the children have also bought signed copies of Nadia's book!
