Skyswood Stars - 16th October

Bobby (Nursery) – Curiosity
Bobby has shown great curiosity and enthusiasm for learning during group sessions.
Nico (Reception) – Kindness
Nico has been so kind to his peers and to adults in the classroom this week. He spent a whole morning helping a friend make her harvest scarecrow.
Alex (Year 1) - Curiosity
Alex has worked incredibly hard to learn his letter sounds. He is now confident to tell his friends and is beginning to use them in his reading.
Amelia (Year 2) – Rainbow
Amelia is always showing all of the Skyswood values but this week has truly shone! During our comprehension activities she showed incredible resilience by trying her best and she came up to me to tell me how she’s enjoyed learning new facts from the texts, always being curious. Her kindness to her friends is admirable and she’s always showing respect for her learning and surroundings. Thanks for being such a superstar Amelia (and for my break time “salon” experience)!
Enzo (Year 3) - Curiosity
Enzo has been brilliant this week. He has really worked hard at starting his work straight away and has therefore produced some excellent pieces. Furthermore Enzo produced a thoroughly impressive piece of Maths for Home Learning, combining methods that we have learnt in class with others that he has learnt himself.
Livi (Year 4) - Curiosity
Livi always ‘goes the extra mile’ in her learning, thinking of ways to learn more and asking thoughtful questions.
Veer (Year 5) - Respect
Veer has been incredibly focused and respectful to all. He has worked collaboratively with his peers and has produced some excellent writing too. An outstanding week for Veer. You also played the flute beautifully in assembly!
Max K (Year 6) - Curiosity
Max produced an exceptional piece of writing in our unit – Night of the Gargoyles. He embraced new learning in this topic demonstrating control over techniques such as the rule of 3 and the past progressive. He was also able to manipulate punctuation for effect to help engage his audience – Well done Max!
