World Book Day

All of our children have enjoyed a fantastic World Book Day today, with a whole-school focus on the wonderful 'Hermelin' book; an engaging story of a mouse turned detective who sniffs out a number of clues and has to show two of our key values, curiosity and resilience, to ensure a happy ending as a result of his new-found friendship and career.

The day started with a 'reading rotation' which gave our children an opportunity to listen to a number of our teachers reading their class story.

A big thank you to Mrs Lewis for organising the day, which turned into a real celebration of story books.
