Year 6 Conquer the Miner's Track!
Our Year 6 class have enjoyed another wonderful day in Snowdonia. After setting off for the Miner's Track, every child successfully reached the third lake and we marvelled at the amazing landscape. The rain stayed off but it was quite windy. There was a great sense of accomplishment when the group climbed the steeper path from the second to the third lake, turned the corner and realised they'd made it. Several sheep and even a few mountain goats were spotted as we returned to Pen-y-Pass.
In the afternoon, the weather brightened and was the best we've had all week. A fantastic afternoon was spent at Rhos-on-Sea; building sand sculptures, paddling in the sea, spotting jellyfish and eating ice-creams. The group returned to the hotel just after five and are looking forward to their evening meal. The sky has been much bluer today and it's the first day that we've avoided a single drop of rain. We'll be off to Llandudno pier and beach later this evening and then looking forward to Bounce Below and Zip Safari tomorrow.
The whole class have been brilliant all week and tomorrow promises to be another special day!
