Year 6 arrive safely in Snowdonia!
Our Year 6 class enjoyed a safe journey to Wales, stopping off for a few hours at Alton Towers. Despite an early shower of hailstones, the weather soon brightened and the theme park was less busy than usual, ensuring less time in queues and more time on the rides! Everybody had a great time, and a particular well done to those children who experienced rollercoasters for the very first time. Every single child went on at least one of the coasters; whether it be the Runaway Train or the more daring rides such as Wicker Man, The Smiler, Thirteen, or being turned upside-down on the Toxicator!
The children have all settled into their rooms and, after a healthy helping of fish and chips, are soon to take their first venture down to the beach. It's going to be a great week ahead and we'll keep you all updated as best we can. We're delighted to see lots of smiling faces and all of the children are naturally excited about the week ahead!
